At the request of a fellow wargamer, here are some pictures of my collection of 1/1200th scale late Victorian warships.
Enjoy
The Ill-fated Peruvian Ironclad ‘Independicia’ (Houston miniatures)
The Famous Peruvian Turret-Ship ‘Huscar’ (Houston miniatures)
The Fictional Peruvian Ram ‘El Toro Suprimo’ (Navwar)
The French Costal Defence Ram ‘Le Tigre’ (Houston miniatures)
Nemo’s Nautilus (MB Models and Spares)
A generic armoured paddle-steamer (Langdon)
The Peruvian Monitors ‘Manco Cápac’ and ‘Atahualpa’ (Navwar)
The HMS Majestic (Houston miniatures)
As the requester of said closeups, thank you indeed Sir! Very nice indeed, I'm quite taken with the HMS Majestic and Le Tigre in particular. Which one played the HMS Thunderchild in your 1879 scenario?
ReplyDeletethanks again!
Paul
I hope you like them. They are older models and in somwhat of a state of disrepair. All the models I have got from Huston are very nice and full of character - a bit rough around the edges - but they finish up lovely.
ReplyDeleteI had a migrane last night so was in rather a rush to get that post done before I was sick on my laptop - and in doing so I forgot to upload a few more pictures - so, I have made you a second post.
Thanks for the interest
Andrew
