Great Eastern – Painted!
^ I’ve finally finished painting my model of the Great Eastern. Yay! I was really excited about this model; in fact it is the single reason that I started this project.
^ Just to see how big this ship was, here it is in scale with some other ships.
^ And here are Brunel’s three transatlantic steamers alongside each other, the Great Western, Great Britain and the Great Eastern.
